Don’t ignore this anti - aging advice.

Strength is one of the most important aspects of our physical existence.

But what is strength?
Strength is the production of force against an external resistance. Every single thing you do in this world requires strength.

Most people don’t think about strength until they don’t have it. And when we do think about strength, we generally think about lifting heavy things. However, it’s important to understand that all of our interactions with the world are connected to our strength.

From opening a door to picking up your child.
From getting out of a car to opening a jar of pickles.
From cutting the grass to climbing a flight of stairs.

Why is this important? Because, the old adage is still true. Use it or lose it!
Your body adapts to the demands placed upon it. As people get older, they start getting weaker and start doing less. As they do less, they get weaker. This continues until they are too weak to walk, get out of bed, shower and so on.

Thankfully the opposite is true. If you consistently do 10 push-ups your body will adapt and become stronger and then you can do 12, 15, 20 etc.…

This is why strength training is vital to everyone at every age. You may not be old, but you still need to maintain your strength because being strong makes you better at everything you do.

I hope this gives you an appreciation for the strength you have and the motivation to keep getting stronger.
