Consistency is Key

Before you worry about which exercises are best or which routine to follow - make sure you have a consistent training schedule.

Many of you probably don't need convincing that planning your week is a good idea. But do you have your workouts scheduled into your calendar?

I'm always surprised by the amount of people who don’t!

It is easy to get caught up in our day-to-day lives and skip workouts on busy days. However, planning your workouts in advance is one of the best ways to make sure you don’t miss one.

Simply seeing the reminder will provide a form of accountability to yourself. Just as you would show up for a scheduled meeting or event, commit to showing up for your workout.

Ideally, try and schedule your workouts for the same time each day as this helps build routine.

Also, there’s great satisfaction in crossing off those completed workouts and looking back at your progress.
